ANKC Regulations for all Exhibitors and Handlers – 45th GSDCA National GSD Show & Trial

EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE:

As this show is an ANKC sanctioned show, all exhibitors and handlers must be financial members of the Controlling Body in the State or Territory or Country in which they reside to participate at this show.

If you have an overseas handler showing your dogs at the 45th GSDCA National GSD Show & Trial, you are required to forward to the GSDCQ Secretary secretary@gsdcqld.org.au, by close of entries, 21st April 2017,  a hard copy of the following information:

Full name of handler & copy of current membership of a recognised FCI member organisation.

(This information will be kept in a confidential file and will only be referred to in the case of an official complaint being made.)

The ANKC regulations state:

SECTION 8

8.1 Exhibit (Amended 10/12 – 7.5.9)

8.1.2 Excepting as provided for in Regulation 8.1.3, handlers at all competitions must be financial members of the Controlling Body in the State or Territory in which they reside.

8.1.3 A person, who is not a resident of Australia, and is able to provide written advice to the Secretary of the Affiliate conducting the event from the recognised Controlling Body of their Country of Residence that they are permitted to handle dogs at championship exhibitions held in that country, may handle at all competitions conducted by Member Bodies for a period of up to three months on each visit.
